Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Rollup windshield, acetylene headlights, kerosene sidelights. Decent but superficial restoration showing age. Edges and latches chipped. Appears to be usable but not very presentable and looks like its been sitting a long time. Intriguing suspension with coil springs and radius arms which have friction damped joints at the frame. H.Lee and Elizabeth Turner collection. No Reserve.

Market commentary

By 1911 Brushs single cylinder cars were rendered irrelevant by advances in design, production and materials like Fords Model T, an ironic fate for a designer trained by Henry M. Leland and designer of the original Cadillac. An anachronism in its time, it is only a footnote to automotive history today and should be happy to bring this much money.
