Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Badger lights, Packard body 8787. Believed to be the 49th oldest surviving Packard. Mostly original, tired and somewhat messed up by an attempt to prepare it for paint. Magneto work in progress and not running as a result. Interior gutted. Otherwise complete and in sound condition but needs everything ... or almost nothing. No Reserve.

Market commentary

Mechanical work to get it running and a serviceable interior to accommodate occupants is one course with this car and at this price thats about all that makes sense. A spectacular restoration would be prohibitively expensive after paying a very high price for this project.
