Righthand tiller steering, wire bicycle style wheels, MaureSa headlights. Older restoration to concours condition showing age and use but sound and presentable. Some paint cracks on body panels, good upholstery, brass and nickel trim. Robert Gottlieb Collection.

Market commentary

deDion Boutons arent all that unusual, even in condition comparable with Bob Gottliebs, and this is an outstanding price for a Series E single cylinder. Aside from Count deDions automobile advocacy he also conceived the deDion rear axle, combining the best of both live axles and independent rear suspension, which continues in use into the 21st Century. An important car.
