Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Red wire wheels. Single acetylene headlamp, kerosene side lights. Origil hardware and upholstery with paint from the 1950s. Nickel brightwork. Built in the U.S. with just three owners from new including second owner Ben Moser. London to Brighton participant, extensively documented and very origil and complete.

Market commentary

Tons of character, known history and documentation make this an exciting and astute acquisition in a rare, highly origil American made Brighton eligible rubout. The buyers paid full retail for it, and well over the high estimate as well, but got something nearly unique. Who is to quibble with their judgement.
