Market commentary
Few automobiles have as long a history among collectors as this MMC (Motor Manufacturing Company of Coventry) or can as honestly be described as contributing to the growth and popularity of car collecting. When it was first restored back in 1930 it was comparable with a 75 model today, barely out of the used car class. While this is a strong price for a Brighton Runner its history and rarity make it extremely important and it is impossible to argue with the buyers and sellers determition of value.
