Equipment

Very early Benz 4 wheeler, VCC dated 1894, the year of the models introduction. Well restored, with known history since WWII and veteran of many Brighton Runs. Includes trailer for hauling it to events.

Market commentary

With Bentley replicas bringing $26,000 its not surprising to see a real 19th Century Benz get bidders excited, but this result is almost twice Brooks low estimate and demonstrates the renewed interest in real antiques.
