Goodwood SpeedWeek is set to pit five decades of rally cars against each other on two special stages at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in October. The mixed surface stages will see the world’s most famous rally cars and rally drivers hoon around the main track’s high speed corners, infield, perimeter tracks, and even the photogenic access tunnel.

The SpeedWeek Super Special will include four classes. Group 4 will include the Lancia Stratos, Ford Escort RS2000, Ferrari 308GTB, and the original Audi Ur Quattro.

Group A will feature Subaru’s Legacy and Impreza WRX, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale and the famous-for-cheating Toyota Celica GT4.

The latest WRC machines will also take to the track, but it’s the monsters of Group B which will provide the most fireworks. Lancia’s 037 and Delta S4, the MG Metro 6R4, Audi Sport Quattro S1 and the Peugeot 205T16 tearing round the Sussex circuit will be a sight not to be missed, and possibly never to be repeated.

SpeedWeek is the only on-track action taking place at Goodwood in 2020 after the Members’ Meeting, Revival and Festival of Speed were all cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic. The event will be held behind closed doors but will be free to watch online between October 16-18.

If you can’t wait until then, you can get a taste of what’s in store by watching Kris Meeke try out the Super Special courses in a Toyota GR Yaris in the teaser video below.
