Tour Preparation for Prewar Cars - Hagerty Media

17 March 2022 at 7:00pm ET

Most of us don’t think twice about tossing in the luggage and just cranking up the engine when it’s time for a road trip. That works fine with a modern Chevy, Toyota, or Porsche, but there’s a lot more to consider when the car is 80, 90, or 100 years old.

On March 17, at 7:00 pm EDT, join the owner of Classic Car Adventures, Dave Hord, as he and panelists John Carlson of the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada; Jonathan Klinger, Hagerty Great Racer and veteran of year-round Ford Model A driving; and fellow Hagerty team member Logan Calkins, who is a former auto restorer with many miles in an Austin 7 under his belt.

Please join us to hear what these experienced prewar car owners do in preparation for hundreds of miles on the open road. What routine maintenance do they perform, what do they replace out of caution, what spares do they carry, and what tools do they pack? Find the answer to these questions and many more on March 17.
