Joe M 1970 Chevrolet Nova Yenko Deuce 2dr Coupe

A Keeper

About 22yrs ago A Chevy Mechanic working partime out of his home was told by the local code enforcement officer to cease his at home activities. It was my good fortune to have my 1967 Camaro at his home when he got the notice to quit. I was asked if I was interested in purchasing a car he had for about 14yrs. He pulled back a tarp to reveal this Nova AND A TREASURE OF GM PARTS STILL IN THE WRAPPERS. AT the time I was not aware of what a YENKO was. I researched and received every title since she was born. I was the 3rd or 4th owner depending if you count a short stay in a used car lot. The car was restored by Prestige Auto in Manchester NH. Through the yrs I have enjoyed sharing the story of this car with fellow enthusiast. I also have the original decals still in a Yenko box with invoice. This car retains it's original Motor and rear end . This car was purchased new at Scher Chevrolet in Brocton, Mass. It was sold to a fellow in Derry NH. It never left NH. In speaking to one of the owners he traded it in on a Station Wagon. I am fortunate to also have the original bill of sale in which that fellow traded in a chevelle for it. Needless to say she is special to me. She is my pinup gal as she has been featured in numerous calendars and magazines, including a feature car in Collectable Car Magazine. I am glad I DID NOT LET HER GET AWAY.;
