As a avid auto enthusiast for over 35 years I've owned many classic and collectable cars ranging from my first "show car" a 1966 Thunderbird to a 1936 Ford, a 1940 Plymouth, 1964 Impala, 1951 Ford Victoria, 1962 Cadillac Town Sedan, no less than 9 Pontiac Fiero's including the last Pace Car replica and a few more in between!
I took a hiatus from the hobby while our kids were in college and when it was time to get the next car my wife said "I've always liked Corvettes, lets find a Vette". So we began our search. We wanted a convertible and the forth generation cars seemed to be in our price range. My wife spotted our 1989 Saphire blue rag top on eBay and we placed our bid. We were thrilled when we won the auction! We're the third owners and the car has only 46,000 original miles. It is a well optioned car and is a pleasure to drive. I've done quite a bit of maintenance work and a few performance improvements to the car that make it even more fun!
I'm currently restoring a 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula which is one of only 299 original factory T-Top cars and also working on a 1957 Chevrolet 1/2 ton short bed pick-up resto-mod that will be a show stopper!
Thanks for the opportunity to share our story.
