Wish I Could Afford To Get It Back

My '66 GTO was my first real car since the car I had before was a 63 Rambler Classic. I traded it in on a '70 Chevy Monte Carlo and have regretted doing so for a long time, perhaps ever since I traded it in. Sure would love to have it back It was Barrier Blue with a black interior. I remember the many times I would be driving it from Chicago to Beardstown Il and kick it up to 110 from time to time just for the fun of it racing similar type cars.

I feel the same way abt my similar $75 driver quality Wht 65 Lemans 2 dr Hrdtp Cpe w/326 & 3 spd auto. It was a steal even in the late 80's. I had a rear wheel brg replaced for $75 & do some lower rear wheel well sheet metal work & then sold it for $350! Still cheap! Those where the days! But alas, things are too expensive now to replace such previously cheap items. Mush on I suppose. Those were the days. Additionally, I too did 110 in my parents 64 Continental in my high school era, but I had to do it down hill! Crazy! Happy Trails!
