i needed a small car to drive to work. I wanted a small convertible. My husband and brother-in-law went car shopping for me. I should mention my brother-in-law is a mechanic. My sister and I were just hanging out waiting for them to get back. They weren't supposed to buy anything, just look and then we would all go to see the vehicle. When they got home, I got the "good news/bad news" line. The good news, we found a car. The bad news, you can't drive it to work. My husband bought the 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible that day. This was about 1994. My husband passed away in 2009, my son is getting married on October 11, 2014 and I am giving him his fathers car. I currently have a 1968 Triumph Spitfire that I use for cruises. We are a classic car family.
