I was driving the 68 Chevelle when I had to stop for a red light. A car pulled up beside me with a couple of younger male drivers in it. As they were stopping, the driver had his clutch in & was racing the engine. This a known signal they wanted race when light changed. They looked over into my car and realized first that I was a female driver and then that I had my 3 year old daughter with me. She told me "GO Mommy GO!" just as the light changed. I punched it and took off leaving the other car still sitting there. My daughter thought that was the neatest thing that I had ever done and loved it. She is now in her forties and still tells the story when she can. Now I must tell everyone that I was NOT going that fast, just surprised the other driver and made her happy!!!!
