The Camaro thats traveled to South Africa

I bought my 1995 Camaro Z28 in December of 1999.

Since buying the car I drove it only 7000 miles until 2011.

In January of 2012 I moved my family to Durban, South Africa for business. I am formerly from Durban, South Africa and have been living in Columbus, Ohio for the past 20 years.

I could NOT leave my beloved Camaro behind or sell it, so in June 2012, I got it picked up from Columbus, Ohio and put it on a ship destined for Durban, South Africa.

I was so happy the day it arrived in South Africa, and I picked it up from the harbor.

It was so exciting to drive it around Durban because it really turned heads being one of the only Camaros in the city!!!

I drove it a thousand miles there.

In October of 2013, I returned to Columbus, Ohio........and yes, in November my Camaro arrived by ship to Jacksonville, Florida. After clearing customs, it was delivered to me in Columbus, Ohio.

My Camaro has had a holiday for a year in South Africa....something most people won't get to do!

The pictures were taken at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban (built for the 2010 Soccer World Cup), and at Westbook beach in Tongaat, a small town north of Durban where I grew up.
