Every time there was a parade my dad would get his 29 ford model a pickup soft top that was ready for restoration out of the farm shed. We had to pull it with the tractor to start it. After several attempts she would start smoking then she'd start up. It's was always pins and needles to see if she would start. It was fun to drive around in.
I have two stories.
We also had a Chevy sedan don't know the year. One summer my aunts and uncles were out during harvest. We got the Chevy out and my dad told my aunt to drive it in the pasture and she drove it right In to some round bales of hay. Lol. Good thing it wasn't restored.
