Second Chance

In 1984 I first saw the 1974 Pontiac Grand Am. I fell in love with the Grrrrr front grill.

I enjoyed that car for many years when I was in my 20's. My father and I worked on it together. Those are the memories with him. I traded it in for a newer 1981 Pontiac Grand Prix in 1991 to get better gas mileage, since I was taking a better job in another state. It was really hard to let it go.

On December 5th 2005 my sweet little Mother passed away. We were very close. The next day I was looking through a scrapbook of memories and I see this little polaroid picture of that dark blue 1974 Pontiac Grand Am. Wow I hadn't seen that car in years. For the next few days I searched online for another one just like it. I eventually find the 1975 Pontiac Grand Am in almost brand new condition with 58,900 actually miles. I remember seeing it pull up to the intersection. There it is! One week later this beautiful arctic blue 1975 G/A was parked in my garage. A few years later a gentleman made a walk around video of the now BRTH TKG Grand Am. It's posted on you tube as Suds III in Greenwood, Indiana.

In this video I say to the camera...

My parents met in heaven and this car re appeared from my older days.

The happy memories this classic car brings to me.
