I have been restoring my Chevelle for several years and it was ready to drive this past April. I have a grandson that turned thirteen on Easter this year and he was going to be baptized. He has been with me every step of the way restoring my car because one day I told him that it would be his. So I surprised him on Easter Sunday and picked him up in the Chevelle and took him to church. He was so surprised because he didn't know that the car was ready to drive on the streets. He said Paw this is the best day of my life..... my thirteenth birthday is on Easter and I am being baptized and when you didn't think things could be any better than that you picked me up in our car. After church that day everyone came outside to see the car and they watched as I drove off with my thirteen year old grandson that was just baptized...now this was one of the best days of my life too. I was so proud of him and so proud that I got the car finished in time to be able to take him for his first ride in the car on such a special day. This is the best memory for me and my classic car.
