After a few months of searching for a classic car, I decided on a 1964 Plymouth Fury with a 318 and push button automatic transmission.
I purchased my 64 Fury 2 door in February because a Fury was my first car in high school. This one has a 318 just like my first car had. After a while of driving my Plymouth here and there, I had been stopped by others who had an old car or two or three of them. I began to get to know these others who I did not know before. They taught me the ins and outs of going to the cruise ins. I Was Hooked! Meeting others with my same interests and meeting at a spot and driving to the shows together is a Great Time. Once there we take out our lawn chair so we have a place to sit after we congregate and look over each others cars. Living here in Georgia 4 miles from the Florida border, I needed a car that had A/C in it so I installed Classic car air conditioning in my Fury. Now I can cruise in style AND stay cool. Now I can't wait for the next cruise in. My wife also loves to ride along and see all the thumbs ups and people at traffic signals saying: hey man that's a cool car. You don't see to many of them models around!
A great way to spend a few hours on a week end day.
