My young grandson loves my 1969 Camaro Z-28. I picked him up from school one day and he was thrilled. We were discussing his day at school, but I could tell he was distracted and had something else on his mind. I asked him what he was thinking about and he started talking about the car. He said, "Someday, Grandpa, you'll die and daddy will get this car. Then someday daddy will die and I'll get it." Of course it wasn't said with any animosity, just a young boy who loves an old car. He helps me work on the car and is a fine young "meckineck", at least in his mind. He is my joy in life and we both love our Z-28.
