My uncle kept his red Jaguar 'E' Type 3.8 liter in my grandmother's garage behind the barn doors. When I was a boy I would get to look at it on occasion. One day before he stored it for good he said "come on and let's take the Jag out and bring your friend." He opened the bonnet and checked the oil and fluids... pulled the choke, turned the key and pushed the starter button as it fired and came to life. He went through the gears and we were running over 100 mph with the wind whipping... I had a smile that lasted at least a year!
