My story starts back in 1970 when a friends sister bought a new 1970 Dodge Challenger. I remember looking at that car swearing that I would own one someday. The years past and I always carried that dream with me, but life had other plans for me as most of us car people experienced. Married life and three boys kept pushing my dream further into the back of my mind. Eight years ago I just happen to come across a 1972 Challenger Rally that the owner said it was rust free and no bondo, which is rare. I was told it just needed complete restoration. I bought the car and put it right into the shop. Total rotisserie restoration, no rust, no body damage. The car went together like a dream, my dream. Other then the paint job I built the car myself. I have never done this before but because of my love for this car I wanted to do it myself. My favorite memory in a classic car is the day I got in it and turned the key for the first time. Engine started and for the first time ever I was driving a Challenger. No words can express the feeling of finally after so many years my dream came true. My car continues to draw a lot of attention and has received several awards including a cover photo and center story in a Florida magazine.
