In 1970 I purchasd a new Black on Black Challenger R/Tand had if for about a week when I decided to take my 18 year old girlfreind back to here scholl in Navoo il. in order to see some of here freinds for a weekend. Her mother gave us permision but her Father would not so we decided not to tell him.
On the way down I lost all oil pressure in the middle of no where and we were stuck on the road with no way to get a tow truck and I did not want to leave a brand new car on the side of the road. Luckaly a guy with californa plates stoped and told us he would stop at the next town and send us a tow truck. At that time I did not belive people like this exsisted. While we were trying to decide what to do and Donna worried what her father would say a tow truck did show up and took us toth e Dodge dealer in town.
The dealer was one of the best people I ever met. This was a Friday nigh and they were getting ready to close. When we told him about the father issue they called the dealer i purchased the car from in and got permision to fix the car.
It turned out to be a broken rocker arm shaft and the dealer took one from one of his cars in stock to fix my car and we were able to pull the trip off without the father knowing and had a good story to tell my futher mothernlaw.
