Prom Queen

Our daughter was 16 and we decided do the prom at Hot August Nights in Reno. I mean really do it up. My wife was lovely in her Marilyn dress and my daughter also in a vintage prom dress. I got a tux from local thrift shop and we were stylish. On our way to the prom, daughter sat on the deck lid and did the 'wave' from our Betty Boop car (59 red and white Metropolitan Convertible). We danced father daughter, mother daughter swing and I even danced with my wife at the prom. Afterwards we drug the main in Sparks. At that time, our Metro was one of just a couple of Metros among over 3,000 registered cars for Hot August Nights. At show n shine, people thought it was an amphibian. It was a great conversation piece. We had so much fun and talk about that trip often.
