I am restoring a classic 1970 El Camino SS. It's so much fun to drive and show a classic car! You don't have to spend a ton of money. I have about $18,000 in the Sedan-Pickup (that's what Chevrolet called them.) You would think I paid 45,000 for it the way people rave about it....I can't drive it anywhere without getting a thumbs up or a compliment on it. Sometimes people will drive up next to me and stare at the car for a block or two and wave. Often when I stop for gas, someone will come over and ask what year it is and say, "it's so beautiful. "
Try going down to the showroom and buy a brand new car that will give you this much enjoyment. Well, maybe if you spend $70,000 for a Corvette!
