When we got married, I was driving a 1968 Mustang, which in those days was just another 2 year old used car. It was a great car, or so I thought in those days. We drove it everywhere for a year and then sold it to go on a delayed honeymoon to Europe for a 2 month summer holiday.
I bought it's twin last year, but we just couldn't recreate those heady days of carefree living. Needless to say, I sold it a short time later because you really "can't go back again".
As an aside, I did have to cancel my order for a 1970 Duster 340 because I wouldn't have been able to make a car payment and pay the rent. To this day, I always wonder what it would have been like to have driven that car to our wedding.
