One of the guys I went to school with got his first car when he was a sophomore. It was a nice Ford with no problems, and his folks paid for it all. After a while we got tired of the gloating, so my buddies and I decided to have some fun. The school parking lot was dirt, but that summer they had put down gravel--a lot of gravel. On the edges it was about four inches deep. During shop class we took the floor jack and some jack stands and raised his car up off the ground just enough to where his drive wheels barely touched the gravel. After football practice, we watched as he puzzled over why he couldn't back out his car. Laughing hysterically, it all came to a screeching halt when he suddenly got out and pushed the car off the stands. Luckily it didn't cause any damage, and we were sprayed with gravel as he left the parking lot. Still gets a laugh to this day when we talk about it.
