Her real name is Helen, but I affectionately call her the "O'lady". Helen is a 1956 Ford Fairlane Town Sedan. Thunderbird Special 312ci with 3-speed auto. All original, except paint with 47k miles. Brought to Utah from California in May 2013, where she was born, raised, and lovingly taken care of. She gave me over 2,000 wonderful trouble free miles last year. Although she likes it when people fuss over her at the local car shows, she loves it even more when just the two of us go for a drive in the mountains surrounding Salt Lake City. The two of us have climbed 10,000 foot passes together and she never bats a headlight. Our funest trip was last fall driving from Salt Lake over Parley's Summit to Heber City. Then going back home via Sundance and the Alpine Loop scenic road. She really glistened in the afternoon sun driving through the golden aspens.
Helen is a TRUE lady, right down to her skirts that come halfway down her rear "legs". I hope Helen and I will be together for many years to come.
