Our 1942 Chrysler Town and Country Windsor Sedan is one of 150 6-passenger vehicles sold. It is one of the very last produced before Chrysler converted to military production for the war effort. Because of the late January 1942 production date the car is nearly 100% "black out" only the bumpers have chrome showing.
Since it was one of the few wagons available in February 1942; Mr. E.S. Carpenter purchased this vehicle for his motion picture company fleet. His company name from the early 1930's to 1950's was Escar, and since the car was clearly purchased to handle cargo we call her ESCARGO.
