My brothers-in-law found this boat in a barn in 2005. Neither one had any experience in restoring boats, but one of them was an avid workworker, so they thought it would be a fun project and wanted to give it a try. Over a five year period, the boat was completely dismantled and rebuilt - rebuilt so that to this day, only 10 original pieces of wood remain. The boat was named Beachcomber for sentimental reasons - it was named in honor of a similar boat owned by a beloved neighbor at the family cottage in Erieau, Ontario Canada. Beachcomber continues the tradition of family boating fun!
