Since I was a young kid, I was into hot rods. I would stop in my tracks when I heard a loud mufflers and wait to see what was coming down the road. Although I was not a mechanic, I loved working on cars and took great pride in making sure my car looked great and drove well. I have enjoyed taking my Mustang and old Corvette to car shows and cruises. I have made many friends at these shows. While raising my 2 boys, sports pushed my car hobby to the backburner. Throughout the years, a Tri Five Nomad has always been on my. I never thought I would be able to afford one because they are so rare, and there are very few of them on the east coast. After a year of looking, I was able to find one in California and at the age of 56 I was able to buy my 1956 Chevy Belair Nomad. Although, my car is a restored, I feel like I own a piece of automotive history. Now when I drive through town, I see kids and adults stop in their tracks to see my car coming down the road.
