Its been said that I have gasoline running through my veins. You see, I was born into a family that builds, races and drives anything with four wheels. Being the daughter of a gear-head, I know my way around a garage, an engine and the racetrack. My claim to fame is a world champion off road title and the only woman to race a semi truck up Pikes Peak Mountain - but my favorite vehicle is one I recently purchased from my dad.
Johnny Ray is a 1930 Ford Model-A coupe that my talented dad hand-built when I was a kid. Riding around in that car made me the coolest 10 year old girl in Wisconsin.
Fast forward 28 years and I am now the coolest woman in Chicago. Now that Johnny Ray is mine, I drive him every chance I get. During the Spring/Summer months I commute to downtown Chicago for my work in my Hot Rod. Let's just say I get a lot of looks and thumb's up on the Kennedy on my way to work!
The specs speak for themselves, he's one cool car.
The top is chopped4"
The body is channeled 6"
350 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 engine with 3 deuces
TH350 transmission built by Hipster
9" ford rear axle
From a very young age, its been a dream of mine to own this car. Johnny Ray is one-of-a-kind, fast on the line and loud as hell. He's everything I thought he would be.
