Summer of 2013 I was with my wife on a fund raising poker run. While riding down a country road on our 09 Harley Street Glide my head turned as we passed a 1971 Olds 442 with a for sale sign in it. We went back that way later and couldn't find it. Sunday morning we went searching for it again. Stopping and asking people along the way. We picked up a lead but it was the wrong car. Disheartened, we retraced our steps and low and behold we passed it up. While I was checking it out my wife noticed an elderly person peering out the window. I took the phone number not wanting to infringe on anybody's Sunday morning. After a couple of visits I was able to come to an agreement. Now this numbers matching, restored to original OEM specs, by a retired Oldsmobile and GM mechanic that owned the car for 18 years, is my pride and joy. Previous owning both a Delta 88 and Cutlass 2 doors, I now am having plenty of fun owning the car I admired when I was driving my Chevy muscle cars in the 70's.
P.S. if you want a photo there should be one on file with my Hagerty Insurance policy.
