When I first saw this car the long oval front signal/parking lights grabbed my attention. I have never seen anything like them! Then I climbed into the car and saw the pushbutton automatic transmission controls. That was when I knew I car was going to be my first. The car had 73,000 miles on when I bought it and I have added almost 200,000 more. People have made me offers but being my first I have refused to let it go. I have owned the car for over forty years and if your wondering, yes it still runs and I do drive it. The car has been with me through high school, my Air Force career, dating, marriage, graying hair, and into my recent retirement. The car is full of memories from my past and will be adding more in the future. Now that I am retired I have the time to (and plan on) restoring it back to it's former glory. I have heard many people say that they wish they still had their first car. They can't believe it when I tell them I still do!
