Equipment
3994/804hp twin-turbo V8, purple calipers, Pirelli P Zero tires.
Condition
Like new and awesome. A little over the top, but awesome. He way the paint shifts from blue to purple is spectacular and hard to appreciate in photos.
Market commentary
Named for the company that built early McLaren sports cars under contract, the Elva was introduced for 2020 with production limited to 149 units and a starting price of $1.69M. Designed to incorporate features including active air management that rules bar from Formula One. Remarkably, six Elvas have already shown up at auctions around the world, and even more remarkably none of them met reserve. We'll have to keep waiting to get a better idea of what one of these impractical roadsters is worth, but a $2.1M offer for this one certainly seems fair.
