Equipment
US spec, air conditioning, built-in radar detector, SF shields, modular centerlock alloy wheels, PZero tires, Assembly number 08316.
Condition
9,486 miles and looks like less. Belt serviced six months ago. The lower front bumper and pop up headlights have some small paint chips, the rest of the paint is very good original finish, the underbody and mechanicals are all very clean and the interior shows little meaningful wear or deterioration, a very well kept original car. Ferrari Classiche Red Book certified.
Market commentary
This is a huge number for an F40, but it is reassuringly presented with under 10,000 miles and recent belt service so it is ready to be driven. Gooding claimed the top F40 at Monterey at $3,965,000, but this result is so close there is no significant difference. A strong endorsement of “analog” supercars.
