Equipment

Second in the 1988 Indianapolis 500 driven by Emerson Fittipaldi and possibly won two races during the 1988 season. Chevy Ilmor powered and appears to be complete although it was not run during the auction, nor apparently since it was rebuilt after retirement in 1989; it is uncertain if the engine is complete or just a show shell.

Market commentary

Sold by RM here two years ago for $57,200 in the same condition. The price paid here is generous and the seller must be very happy.
