Equipment
A C, P W, fire system with bottle on passengers floor, two piece Speedline wheels, 8x16 front, 10x16 rear. One of four factory prototypes. Two destroyed in crash testing, the other dismantled and sold for crash repair parts. The only Giallo Fly 288 GTO built. One private owner. Freshly serviced by the factory. 9,650 km when cataloged but 9,908 today. Differs in details from production 288 GTO, especially in the rear which looks a lot like a Stratos. That is not a bad thing. Stone chips on left front fender vent, otherwise sharp. Drivers door closes hard. Ferrari Classiche certified.
Market commentary
This is not cheap, but it is an absolutely unique, visually distinctive high performance Ferrari with impeccable provenance. Even at nearly $700,000 it has long term value. Carefully maintained and little used, someday it will again be worth as much as was paid for it today,
