3 liter V12. 1980 81 team car driven by Patrick Depailler and Bruno Giacomelli (on pole at USGP) in 80 then in 81 by Andretti at Long Beach and Giacomelli again at Brazil and Spain, Canada (4th) and Caesars Palace (3rd). Maintained by Terry Hoyle, regularly demonstrated but not used in recent years.

Market commentary

Sold by Brooks at Monaco in 1998 for $90,663, then offered by Bonhams at Monaco in 2004 in better condition but no saled at $133,064. A sweet car with a magnificent V 12, but it could have been sold without (much) regret at the reported high bid.
