This Trans Am reads 107513 on the odometer. It is well equipped with A/C, P/S, P/B, 4 wheel disc brakes, AM/FM radio, and T-Tops. This bird also features the Y84 option with 4 speed and Pontiac 400 V8,PW4 engine code and correct range date code which indicates the engine is most likely original. The iconic Pontiac aluminum snowflake wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich radial T/A’s are in place and free of any curb rash. The black paint appears to be original and well maintained, there is some typical factory orange peel on the drivers door, and the door gaps are just inconsistent enough to indicate they are more then likely original not restored. The hood bird is slightly sun faded again making me think it is original but had been garage kept. The doors have been drilled and plugged indicating dealer rust proofing, and the underbody is lightly under coated as well. The drivers door hinge bushings are loose and the door drops slightly as you open it. The front chin spoiler has a little parking curb rash, but as you look past it you see the front end is well maintained but not restored. There are new shock absorbers and new true dual exhaust with X-pipe and chambered mufflers are in place of the cross flow muffler. The catalytic converter has been eliminated, but the Trans Am splitter tailpipe tips are in place. Inside the tan interior appears essentially original and well maintained with a little light wear on the steering wheel and drivers seat. The GM factory floor mats are in place. Carpet is well maintained and despite the t-tops, there is no indication of any leaking which is typical of this model and further indicating this car was kept inside when not being driven and probably seen any in climate weather.Under the hood it appears the engine has been removed and detailed and most likely rebuilt. It is not show detailed but clean and well maintained with new alternator, hoses, belts and new brake master cylinder. All the original tower style clamps were used in re-assembly. One could be skeptical this vehicle is largely unrestored and still looks so good with 100,000 miles on it but that is an average of 2500 miles a year, just about right for a yearly run for some Coors beer in Texarkana and then babied the rest of the time when not driven.
