Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Goodyear Blue Streaks, side exhausts, dry break fuel filler. Factory Competition Daytona for NART, raced by rentadrivers at Daytona 73 (dnf), Le Mans 74 (dnf) and Daytona 75 (1st in GT, 7th OA in Interscope Black driven by Woodner and Philips.) Good race car repaint, otherwise largely in as raced condition. Catalog says its in running order but nothing about race ready. Looks unused in a while and careful checkout is in order before assessing its potential.

Market commentary

This is SWB Berlinetta money for a car with more performance and a decent, if not top rank, racing history. Any car with documented NART racing history is important but Andruet and Ballot Lena are not the same as Hill Gendebien. A very potent potential competitor in the Ferrari challenge series which brought a reasonable price considering it will need comprehensive checking before hitting the track for any serious competition.
