Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Freshly detailed but that dont cover up the poorly repaired cracks at the front corners of the trunk opening. Its time to give the seats a re dye to cover up the surface cracks on the drivers side. The head was cut off this Ferrari by Claudio Zampoli many years ago and it has been bouncing around the auction circuit for fifteen years now. It still has only 17,780 miles (up from 13,494 in 2002.)

Market commentary

Consignment 1114. The low miles on this Ferrari decapotable (the French term for convertible) and its frequent turnover (this is the fifth time its been to auction since 1993) speak volumes about the disappointment which owners apparently feel with it. At B J in 2002 it brought $108K, and it hasnt moved much since. The seller wisely took the money, any money.
