Equipment
Power steering, power front disc brakes, AM/FM, elastomeric front bumper cover. Replacement engine block date coded 1 19 1970. One of 11 71 Hemi Cuda convertibles, one of three with 4 speeds and the only one with elastomeric front bumper and a White top.
Condition
Drag raced when new as the Mountain Mopar then put away for years before being restored with its original sheet metal and interior. Sharp, crisp, fresh restoration to better than showroom condition.
Market commentary
Is it really, I mean REALLY, significant that this is the only 1971 Hemi Cuda convertible with a 4-speed, plastic nose and white convertible top? Mopar people (OK, and Corvette people and Porsche people, too) obsess about such stuff when what really matters is that this is the car that carries the biggest bragging rights in America today. Owning an Enzo pales beside owning a Hemi Cuda convertible. But what happened to the $5 million prices that''ve been talked about? Hot air to create a legend, perhaps.
