Market commentary
Sold by Edsel Ford II for $1,281,930 hammer, $1,410,123 with commission by RM at Maranello in 2007, before the recent extensive cosmetic and mechanical work. That was, if anything, a market aberration, and in no way aided by the Euro. The all in price here is Euros 739,800, down from Euros 1,045,000 in Maranello. Rob Myers worked hard to put this deal together on the block and succeeded. The result is at least a very good value and approaches (as much as a million dollars for an automobile can be) a bargain.
