Equipment
Chrome spoke Borrani wire wheels, popup lights, painted nose panel, AM FM, no A C. Reportedly the third Daytona Spyder built, Euro specs, and delivered in the odd (but very NART like) color scheme of Blue Dino with White inserts in the body side recesses to one Sara Scapula (Sara Shoulderblade). FCA Platinum award winner in this livery in the mid 90s. Well maintained since then and still in very nearly like new condition with excellent cosmetics and impressive panel work. Ferrari Classiche Certified.
Market commentary
Three years ago at Pebble Beach we thought half a million dollars was all, I mean all, the money for a Daytona Spyder (s n 16455, which sold for Euros 407,500). A year later it was three quarters of a million (s n 16223 which sold for Euros 583,900.) Today this result, Euros 962,500, a cool million more dollars than just three years ago counts as market, which is pretty startling. Note also that it is Euros 555,000 more, a 136% increase in not even three full years although this car is distinguishable both by its visibly better condition and its Euro specs. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, hoping the pipe isnt full of dish soap and making bubbles.
