Equipment
Probably the 1971 Sebring winning car driven by Vic Elford and Gerard Larrousse. In clean as raced condition with its Sebring winning Martini graphics and a fresh 5 liter 917 engine. Said to have had its chassis plate swapped with a Le Mans winning 917, and then swapped back at some point in its history.
Market commentary
Whether this 917 won Le Mans or Sebring, it would make a great centerpiece for a collection of racing Porsches. The 917 experts in the crowd thought that $1 million for this car was cheap, and the low price was a direct result of the questions about its history.
