Market commentary
Further evidence of the extraordiry popularity of anything Hemi, particularly Cudas and Challengers, this is big money for a rather tired old cosmetically restored Hemi Cuda with a replacement engine. The auction history of this car illustrates the progress of Hemi madness: It was a $25,000 no sale at the Kruse Meadowlands auction in May 1993; a $22,100 no sale at Spring Auburn a few weeks later; then reported sold at Worldwides Houston auction on April 30 of this year for $189,750. Its accumulated only 2,077 miles on the odometer in the last 12 years.
