Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

383 330hp, automatic. Originally used in the Dukes of Hazzard TV series. Later this car, 1 of 6 original General Lee released by Warner Brothers, was used by movie vehicle designer and stuntman, George E. Sack in the movie The Gladiator (1986). Awful paint, worn and tattered interior, roll bar, cheap cassette stereo, buckets and console. A scrofulous beater.

Market commentary

This is a terrible, neglected, mistreated, dilapidated Charger worth, by itself, no more than $2,000 in this condition. As an original General Lee, however, its value is something else although its hard to think that in this condition it is anything more than the reported high bid here in Branson.
