Equipment
454/450hp LS6, automatic, hideaway wipers, AM/FM pushbutton radio, power brakes, steering, windows and top, SS wheels and trim rings, cowl induction, dual exhaust, rear sway bar.
Condition
Cracks at the top corners of the trunk opening. Panel gaps are even. The majority of the panels were flat, but most have a slight dip in when the surface reaches the panel gaps. Chrome is excellent and shows no polish swirl. Interior is new and correct. One of only an estimated 16 LS6 convertibles built. Documented with build sheet, Protect-O-Plate and owner's manual, and possibly the only one in these colors.
Market commentary
Sold at the RM Classic Muscle and Performance auction in 2010 for $231,000, then two years later at Auctions America's Ft. Lauderdale sale for $198,000 and offered at the same venue earlier this year where it was bid to $170,000. According to its odometer it has traveled 1,819 miles since 2010, unusually actively used for an LS6 convertible. It is still in much the same condition and wouldn't be expensive at something more than the reported high bid, but not much more.
