Equipment
Wood detailed roof rack, hub caps, narrow whitewalls, aftermarket radio, sink, ice box, closet, curtains, crank-out windows, aftermarket CD stereo.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Amateur paint job with some bubbling on the rear and signs of original green paint on the rear engine cover and hatch. Brightwork is clean and well restored. Underbody has been undercoated and has new suspension parts. Engine compartment is clean, light restoration. Interior has been fully restored. Restored to reasonably high standards for what it is, but clearly done on a budget. Represented as a rust-free Oklahoma microbus with no reason to doubt the claim.
Market commentary
They should have put a surf board on the roof rack and played Beach Boys tunes on the radio because transported to California this bus will be worth more. Driving up Route 1 along the coast these camper busses are still popular weekend getaway vehicles and the mystique still works. It is a good value at this price, though, even if the buyer isn't a surfer dude.
