Car Card: Very rare 1969 Oldsmobile 442 W 32 convertible, automatic transmission, power steering, power top, tilt wheel, factory Am FM radio, ice cold factory air conditioning, Firestone wide oval white letter bias ply tires. Factory rally wheels. Correct Trophy blue exterior with flawless parchment bucket seat console interior and white convertible top. The W 32 option package included anti spin rear axle, heavy duty radiator, w style hood stripes, under bumper forced air induction system. Oldsmobile made only 25 W 32 convertibles. Over 6 years were spent on this spectacular restoration. In 2001 Olds Nationals Best of Class Winner with numerous Best of awards. In 2002 Oldsmobile decided it was time to make their display at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit something the public would talk about for years. They searched the country for the best vintage Olds muscle car they could find. Something that would stop everyone dead in their tracks and say wow!! It was to be in the display surrounded by all the new Olds models the public was seeing for the first time. Over 750,000 people visited the Detroit show. Oldsmobile printed out thousands and thousands of color enlarged postcards with pictures and descriptions of this ultra rare find. This is probably one of the most photographed Oldsmobiles of all time. Only 3 are known to exist. Very very collectable W machine a solid investment.
